Rob Redman

I’m Rob, a photographer, filmmaker, visual effects artist and editor, based in the Southwest of England, where I live with my daughter and our dog, Biscuit. I’m privileged to live in a beautiful part of the country, with rolling hills, forests, and many ancient monuments close by.

I started out as a photographer working mainly in product and food photography, later branching out into events, portraits and editorial. My work quickly evolved in the early 2000s when image editing became more popular, adding 3D to my workflow. This led to me writing regularly for the photographic and visual effects press, ultimately gaining me a position in the hot seat, editing 3D World magazine, which I do to this day, on top of my other client work.

I love nothing more than hitting the road to find inspiration for my next photo or video project, whether that be a simple still, a composite piece, or further afield on the next overseas commission. This site is the home for mostly photography and film although (knowing me) a few elements of 3D will make their way in.

Check the blog for recent thoughts, advice, gear reviews, and more. The store is where you can pick up presets and some other, currently secret, items that will improve the work of both pro and keen enthusiasts alike.
